Designing and Conducting Experiments for Casual Inference
This workshop introduces participants to the logic and application of experimental research. It explores key principles including manipulation, control and randomisation and guides participants through the steps involved in designing an experiment, selecting appropriate statistical tests and interpreting results. The workshop also addresses issues of internal validity, determining appropriate sample sizes and ensuring research is relevant and applicable beyond the experimental setting.
