7. Uluslararası Turizmde Mimarlık ve Kültürel Miras Kongresi’ne Davet
24-26 Eylül 2026 tarihleri arasında Sırbistan'ın Novi Sad kentinde düzenlenecek olan 7. Uluslararası Turizmde Mimarlık ve Kültürel Miras Kongresi’ne sizleri davet etmekten büyük bir onur duyuyoruz.
Bu yılki kongre, Novi Sad Üniversitesi ev sahipliğinde; Karabük Üniversitesi ve Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesi iş birliğiyle gerçekleştirilecektir. Kongreye bildiri sunarak ya da dinleyici olarak katılabilirsiniz. Organizasyon, hibrit (yüz yüze ve çevrimiçi) bir formatta düzenlenecektir.
Kongrenin ana temasını, turizm disiplininin ve destinasyonların en önemli çekicilik unsurları olan kültür ve mimarlık oluşturmaktadır. Günümüz insanı; rekreasyon, inanç, iş, kültür ve spor gibi çeşitli amaçlarla seyahat etmektedir. Bu seyahatlerde şehirlerin sahip olduğu kültürel miras ve mimari değerler, ziyaretçilerin destinasyon tercihlerinde belirleyici rol oynamaktadır. Saraylar, tapınaklar, camiler, kiliseler, köprüler, tiyatrolar, anıtsal yapılar ve geleneksel konutlar, bir destinasyonun tarihî ve kültürel kimliğini yansıtarak turistik çekim merkezlerine dönüşmektedir.
Bununla birlikte mimarlık, yalnızca tarihî yapılarla değil; aynı zamanda ünlü mimarlar tarafından tasarlanan çağdaş yapılar ile de özel ilgi turizminin (mimari turizm gibi) gelişmesine katkı sağlamaktadır. Safranbolu gibi geleneksel Osmanlı sivil mimarisinin seçkin örnekleri ya da Sydney Opera Binası gibi modern mimari eserler, mimari çekiciliğiyle öne çıkan destinasyonlara örnek teşkil etmektedir. Ayrıca; oteller, restoranlar, havalimanları, müzeler ve kongre merkezleri gibi turizm altyapıları da mimarlığın turizmle olan çok yönlü ilişkisini ortaya koymaktadır. Bu nedenle; kültür, mimarlık ve turizm arasındaki bu karşılıklı etkileşimin farklı yönleriyle tartışılması, kongremizin temel amacıdır.

We are honored to invite you to the 7th International Congress on Architecture and Cultural Heritage in Tourism, which will be held from September 24 to 26, 2026, in Novi Sad, Serbia.
This year's congress will be hosted by the Department of Geography, Tourism and Hotel Management at the University of Novi Sad, in collaboration with Karabük University and Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University. We welcome your participation either as a presenter or as an audience member. The congress will be conducted in a hybrid format (both in-person and online).
The main theme of the congress centers on the vital relationship between the tourism discipline and its primary attractions: culture and architecture. Today, people travel for diverse purposes, including recreation, faith, business, culture, and sports. In these journeys, the cultural heritage and architectural values of cities play a decisive role in destination choices. Structures such as palaces, temples, mosques, churches, bridges, theaters, monuments, and traditional houses reflect the historical identity of a destination, transforming them into major tourist attractions.
Furthermore, architecture fosters the development of special interest tourism (such as architectural tourism) not only through heritage sites but also through contemporary structures designed by renowned architects. Exquisite examples of traditional Ottoman civil architecture, like Safranbolu, or modern masterpieces like the Sydney Opera House, exemplify destinations distinguished by their architectural appeal. Additionally, essential tourism infrastructures—including hotels, restaurants, airports, museums, and congress centers—further reveal the multifaceted synergy between architecture and tourism. Discussing the various aspects of this mutual interaction is the core objective of our congress.
