6. Uluslararası Turizmde Mimarlık ve Kültürel Miras Kongresi’ne Davet
16-18 Ekim 2025 tarihleri arasında Azerbaycan’ın başkenti Bakü’de düzenlenecek olan 6. Uluslararası Turizmde Mimarlık ve Kültürel Miras Kongresi’ne sizleri davet etmekten büyük bir onur duyuyoruz.
Bu yılki kongre, Azerbaycan Millî İlimler Akademisi Mimarlık ve Güzel Sanatlar Enstitüsü ev sahipliğinde; Karabük Üniversitesi, Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesi ve İzmir Kavram Meslek Yüksekokulu iş birliğiyle gerçekleştirilecektir. Kongreye bildiri sunarak ya da dinleyici olarak katılım sağlayabilirsiniz.
Kongrenin ana temasını, turizm disiplininde önemli bir yere sahip olan mimarlık ve kültürel miras unsurlarının turizm destinasyonlarındaki çekiciliği oluşturmaktadır.
Günümüz insanı; rekreasyon, inanç, iş, kültür ve spor gibi çeşitli amaçlarla seyahat etmektedir. Bu seyahatlerde, şehirlerin sahip olduğu kültürel miras ve mimari değerler, ziyaretçilerin destinasyon tercihlerinde belirleyici rol oynamaktadır. Saraylar, tapınaklar, camiler, kiliseler, köprüler, tiyatrolar, anıtsal yapılar ve geleneksel konutlar, bir destinasyonun tarihî ve kültürel kimliğini yansıtarak turistik çekim merkezleri hâline gelmektedir.
Bununla birlikte, mimarlık, yalnızca tarihî yapılarla değil; aynı zamanda ünlü mimarlar tarafından tasarlanan çağdaş yapılar ile de özel ilgi turizminin (örneğin mimari turizm) gelişmesine katkı sağlamaktadır. Safranbolu gibi geleneksel Osmanlı sivil mimarisinin seçkin örnekleri ya da Sydney Opera Binası gibi modern mimari eserler, mimari çekiciliğiyle öne çıkan destinasyonlara örnek teşkil etmektedir.
Ayrıca, turizmin gelişmesi adına inşa edilen otel, restoran, havaalanı, müze, kongre ve sergi merkezleri gibi altyapılar da mimarlığın turizmle olan çok yönlü ilişkisini ortaya koymaktadır. Bu nedenle, kültür, mimarlık ve turizm arasındaki bu karşılıklı etkileşimin farklı yönleriyle tartışılması, kongremizin temel hedefidir.

6th Congress on Architecture and Cultural Heritage in Tourism
We are honored to invite you to the 6th International Congress on Architecture and Cultural Heritage in Tourism, which will take place on October 16–18, 2025, in Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan.
This year’s congress will be hosted by the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Institute of Architecture and Fine Arts and organized in cooperation with Karabük University, Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, and İzmir Kavram Vocational School. You can participate in the congress by presenting a paper or attending as a listener.
The main theme of the congress is the attractiveness of architectural and cultural heritage elements in tourism destinations, which hold a significant place in the tourism discipline.
Today, people travel for various purposes such as recreation, faith, business, culture, and sports. The cultural heritage and architectural assets of cities play a determining role in tourists' destination preferences. Palaces, temples, mosques, churches, bridges, theaters, monumental buildings, and traditional houses reflect the historical and cultural identity of a destination and thus become major tourist attractions.
Moreover, architecture contributes not only through historical structures but also through contemporary buildings designed by renowned architects, leading to the emergence of a special interest tourism type known as "architectural tourism." Traditional examples such as Safranbolu’s Ottoman civil architecture or modern architectural icons like the Sydney Opera House serve as significant attractions.
In addition, infrastructure investments such as hotels, restaurants, airports, museums, congress and exhibition centers constructed to support tourism highlight the multifaceted relationship between architecture and tourism. Therefore, examining the mutual interaction between culture, architecture, and tourism from different perspectives forms the core objective of our congress.
